Here are 6 Tips on how to Facilitate Online Learning for Preschoolers!
1. Understand the learning need and style of the child Do understand that each child is unique in his own way. He learns most when the activities/lessons are being taught in fun and engaging ways; when he has a parent/teacher who understands empathically his interest and talents; and when his learning environment is collaborative, motivating and inspiring.
2. Create a routine Gumawa ng time table o schedule ng activities na gagawin ng iyong anak sa buong araw. Mas madaling matuto at mapasunod ang isang bata kung mayroong sinusunod na routine mula pag gising sa umaga, pagkain, pag-aaral, paglalaro hanggang sa pagtulog sa gabi.
3. Create a learning space for your child Kids need a space for learning that is free from distractions. Make sure that your kid’s learning space is comfortable and conducive for learning. Mas magiging productive ang inyong anak kung may oras magpahinga, kumain, at magkaroon ng free time malayo sa kanilang learning space.
4. Acknowledge good behaviors and cheer them up! Kids like to be praised so, make sure that your child feels appreciated when he /she did something right. Simple gestures like high five, thumbs up or hugging can make him/her feel appreciated and motivated to do more! They really like getting a smiley or star from the teacher!
5. Limit screen time Nahihirapan ka bang pahintuin ang iyong anak sa panonood at paglalaro sa gadgets? Be a good example and limit your own screen time as a parent. Make sure to encourage your child to do activities that do not require gadgets. Makipaglaro at gumawa ng mga activities na makakatulong para madevelop ang fine and gross motor skills ng inyong anak. Make teaching and learning as a bonding time for you and your child. Relax lang!
6. Don’t be afraid to get a tutor Are you a working mom or dad at walang mahabang oras para turuan ang anak? Walang problema! Getting a tutor can be a big, big help! Preschooler needs one-on-one attention when it comes to studying. Get a teacher who can provide individual attention and can adjust to the learning needs and style of your child.
